Dr. Sandeep Goyal

Chairman & Managing Director , Rediffusion

Dr. Sandeep Goyal is the founder of Mogae Media and the chairman and managing director of Rediffusion. He began his career as a sales manager at Goodlass Nerolac Paints in 1984 before entering advertising as an account executive at HTA (later J. Walter Thompson, Wunderman Thompson and now VML) in 1986. He subsequently held leadership roles at Trikaya (now Grey) and Interact Vision (part of DDB Mudra) before becoming president of Rediffusion DY&R (now Rediffusion) between 1997 and 2001.

He then served as group chief executive officer of the Zee Group from 2001 to 2002. In 2003, Goyal entered a joint venture with Dentsu Inc. to establish Dentsu India, helping grow the business into one of India's largest agency networks before exiting his equity stake in 2011. He continued as chairman emeritus until September 2012. Goyal also served as chairman of Snapchat India for three years and as principal secretary to the Government of Punjab.

Alongside his advertising career, Goyal co-founded The Indian Fantasy League in partnership with The Times Group and launched Last Minute Inventory, an online media trading exchange. Through Mogae Consultants, he invested in businesses spanning adtech, digital marketing, customer relationship management, media and public relations.

In 2012, Goyal founded Mogae Media, focusing on mobile advertising, programmatic technology and AI-driven marketing solutions. The company later expanded through partnerships and acquisitions across conversational AI, personalised video, adtech and data-driven marketing.
